Corrugated iron is still used on
these elaborate
gable roof forms with ogee guttering,goose neck
finials & wide barge boards.
More timber detailing to verandah(s) with timber posts
and brackets becoming increasingly popular. |

BUNGALOW/TUDOR/GEORGIAN/EARLY ENGLISH (1920 -
1950'S)

Earlier use of corrugated iron &
terra cotta
tiles for roofing materials was continued during
this period with "D" profile guttering and round
downpipes
Unpainted stone,brick or render should remain unpainted in
keeping with the era.
Verandahs & carports can be constructed to suit the era and
style of the residence in keeping with Local Councils and
Heritage recommendations. |
